JENNY VANPELT  - ARMY

A 2003 graduate of Utopia High School and a member of the National Honor Society. She received many awards and medals in high school. She is the daughter of Mark Jebbia and Jill Power of Utopia.

Stationed with the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, her military specialty is Avionic Mechanic, performing unit level maintenance on tactical communications security, navigation, Identification friend or foe, and flight control equipment.

Jenny was selected as "Soldier of the Month" then "Soldier of the Quarter" (last qtr of 2006) in her Battalion competition with enough points to get her promoted to Sergeant.

She is married to Chad Vanpelt of Concan, who is also in the Army.
