SHELLY N. SHARP
 - AIR FORCE

Shelly graduated from Utopia High School in May 2001. She joined the Air Force in September 2001.  She was to report to duty on Sept 11; but was delayed until Sept 13... because of the attack on America.

Shelly is the daughter of Anthony and LeAnn Sharp of Utopia, Texas. Her grandparents are Lora B. Garrison and the late Roger Garrison of Utopia, Texas and Darlene J. Sharp and the late George T. Sharp of Rio Frio, Texas.

During her 6 years of active duty, Shelly was stationed around the world, including: Barksdale AFB in Louisiana, Aviano AFB in Italy, Balard AFB in Iraq,  the US AFB on the island of Diego Garcia, and Lackland AFB in Texas.  Her duties were to load live bombs and missiles onto B-52 and F-16 planes. She completed her Air Force service as a Staff Sgt (E5) in November 2007, and was discharged at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
